Are my cities saved?
Yes. Your locations and your chosen styles are stored in your browser's local storage, so they are still there next time you visit. Nothing is sent to a server.
Does it handle daylight saving?
Yes. Each clock reads the current time in its zone using the browser's own time zone database, so daylight saving is applied correctly wherever it is in effect.
Why does the second hand move smoothly?
A continuous sweep reads better than a step. If your system is set to reduce motion, the hand falls back to a once-a-second tick instead.
